A place to go with Dabba

2010-09-15 - Photo by Linda Waggener. 2339 Campbellsville RD, Columbia, KY
The great joy of Mary Keltner's life today is two year old granddaughter Molly, who was just here on a visit to her grandmother's Kentucky home, and discovered the play house at Betty Ollestad's home. Molly's back home now, but on calls to her grandmother she always asks about the little house. During Mary Keltner's stay with her granddaughter in the DC area while receiving care at the National Institute of Health, Molly came to expect to always find her "Dabba" in the guest bedroom. Now, when she goes to the room, and looks in, she says, "Dabba? Dabba?," not quite sure why her grandmother isn't in her expected place. Dabba has shared her own story today--a story this little girl plays such a huge role in--in the hopes that it will increase awareness of one of her dearest life-giving causes. File photo.
