It's been over 2 1/2 years since CM has reminded Adair County of its most famous bear This photo ran February 22, 2008, with the following caption:Eddie Kessler found this photo and sent it with the this note: "Here is a vintage (circa 1960's) black bear photo. Looks to be in Columbia, next to Haskin Coomer & Son building." ColumbiaMagazine.com will be eternally grateful to Eddie Kessler for reminding all us Old Timers (160 years old and up) of these most beloved Adair County buddies.
