Thanks to KY Fish & Wildlife, our lives are enriched now: While mowing hay on the D. U. Rice farm now owned by Vickie Watson, just off Holmes Bend road and behind Rerun's store, I almost ran over this little fellow with the mower. I backed up and went around the little fawn and the Mother came and retrieved him shortly afterward. As a boy I remember we had no deer, turkey, eagles, beaver and otters or coyotes in this country. Thanks goes to the Kentucky Fish & Wildlife department we have these to enrich our lives here in this part of Kentucky now. -George Rice
