2010-06-13 - Photo by Sherri Stotts. University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, WI
They've done it! the Adair County Middle School won third place in the Future Problem Solvers International Competition in La Crosse, WI! Competing against 66 teams composed of some of the brightest kids on the planet, and mostly against teams with 9th graders, the Adair County Middle School FPS team came with a third place win. The second trophy is for the 4th Place for the Action Plan. On the 3rd Place Team, above, are, from left, Amber Turner (7th), Kyle Castaneda (8th), Sydney Bright (7th), and in back, Sara McQuaide (7th); each is wearing the medal won for the action plan; Chloe Cheng and Abby Walker are medalists, as well. The Adair County Middle School Future Problem Solvers are coached by Brett Reliford. The photo was taken by Sherry Stotts shortly after the awards were announced. The team will arrive back in Kentucky, shortly after midnight, at Louisville International Airport. The team will drive straight to Columbia, KY, home to Adair County, after that.
