Tornado spotted from The Pines at Lindsey Wilson

2010-06-10 - Photo by Doug Lewis, submitted by Perry Parrish. Adair County, KYA small tornado was spotted a little north of The Pines at Lindsey Wilson College, Columbia, KY, in the early evening of Wednesday, June 9, 2010. Perry Parrish and Doug Lewis, witnesses to the tornado, say it did no damage, but added, "We did see quite of bit of debris in it for a short time," Perry Parrish said. The photo was taken by Doug Lewis with his cell phone. Weather analysis by national Weather Service Warning Coordination Meteorogist Joe Sullivan and WAVE Radio's Weather Expert Daniel Wilson concluded that this was an EF-0 tornado. The time and direction of the photo coincide with the twister which touched down for .3 mile on the William Feese farm on KY 61, two miles north of Columbia, KY.
