Columbia Chief of Police Mark D. Harris, left photo, is now officially a candidate for Mayor of the City of Columbia, KY. He filed candidacy papers in the office of Adair County Court Clerk Sheila Harris this morning, Tuesday, June 8, 2010, shortly after 9amCT. Right photo: Harris is joined by daughters Bailey Harris, front, and Kendra Leveridge, and, bottom right photo, by his mother, Linda Harris. Harris' wife, Cindy Harris, a loan officer at United Citizens Bank, was in Lexington, KY, attending a seminar.
