LWC Business Class prepares next generation of entrepreneurs

Students in Linda Grider's "Entrepreneurship Project" spent the spring semester creating and implementing plans to start their own business, and two of them won awards in the highly competitive University of Kentucky Von Allmen Center for Entrepreneurship Bootcamp 1.0.

When students walked to a one room school

One room school house restored

The historic Hopkins School was established in 1858 and used through 1962 when students began attending Albany Elementary. It has been fully restored in its original state. It is located just north of Albany, KY.
