In the distance, a great tradition of the Columbia-Adair County Fire Department continues with the crusade road block at the interesction of Jamestown Street and the Public Square, with Dennis Loy being interviewed by Ed Waggener, and Chris Bragg and Mike Glasgow ready to take money for the the Crusade for Children. In the foreground, and all around the Square , the daylilies planted and maintained by another outstanding Columbia organization, the Adair County Garden Club. One can almost imagine Gordon McRae riding by on his horse singing "Oh What a Beautiful Morning," on this Sunday, May 30, 2010. Another great day to be in Adair County, KY.
