Scenic Adair Co., KY: Horse Drawn Covered Wagon, Gradyville

2010-05-29 - Photo by Vernon Mast. 1432 Gradyville Country Club RD, Gradyville, KY.
An Old Timey with New Fangled features Horse Drawn Covered Wagon will be part of the First Memorial Day Trade Day honoring Harold Mouser on Monday, May 31, 2010, at the Vernon Mast place on Gradyville Country Club RD. The wagon is enclosed with side curtains, rides on white sidewall pneumatic tires, has an air horn and hydraulic brakes, and passengers ride in automobile type seats. The wagon will be taking visitors to the trade day event for rides, and the outfit, complete with wagon, harness, and Sadie and Sarah, the Halflingers providing the horsepower, above, can be bought for $3,500 outright or the owner will negotiate trades. Vernon Mast acquired the covered wagon and horses in Marion County. He loves it, but like many other things on the farm, it is for sale. Gracie Keaton is the adult keeping a watch on the kids getting set to leave, above.
