Forty prize balloons honor memory of Sidney Grant

Descendants of the late Sidney Grant released 40 balloons on Sunday, May 23, 2010; each balloon carried a tag which, when returned, is redeemable for a copy of Susie Grant's book, The True Story Of A German War Bride. Balloons were released by the following relatives: Susie Grant, Edward and Sharon Grant, Allen and Rhonda Roberts, Caleb Roberts, Brook Roberts, Portia Roberts, Jacob and Brittany Roberts,Gracie Roberts, Braydon Roberts, Jackie and Wendy Grant, Jasmine Grant, Abigail Grant, Billy and Hilda Smith, Jason and Marguerite Smith, Brittany Smith, Tammy and Joe Morgeson, Zachary Morgeson, Chelsey Morgeson, Wanda French, Adam and Hope Cole, Lexie Cole, Shelby Cole, Michelle Powers and Paul Cruse, Devin Powers, Megan Powers, Amos and Carolyn Gaskins, Michael and Angie Hinkle, Mackenzie Hinkle, Jon and Jessica Gaskins, and Alexis (Peanut) Gaskins.
