Walmart makes large Stamp Out Hunger! donation

Saturday, May 8, 2010 is Stamp Out Hunger! Day
The Columbia Post Office kicked off the annual Stamp Out Hunger! food drive Friday, May 7, 2010, by collecting a large donation from the local Columbia Walmart this afternoon. Above, Postman Ron Holt accepts the generous gift from Columbia Walmart Assistant Manager Billy Smith. The big day for the drive is Saturday, May 8, 2010. Postal patrons are asked to leave donatons of canned goods at mail boxes or to bring donations to the Columbia Post Office, 800 Burkesville ST, Columbia, KY 42728. Phone (270) 384-3206.
