Flooded Rockhouse Bottom: A natural event site, Rockhouse bottom has been the scene of Native American hunting encampments, grandiose weddings and even larger camp revivals plus much more. Since the instigation of the Wolf Creek Dam Restoration Project, the Cumberland River runs at higher than normal depths to take the pressure off the dam. With this subsequent abnormal discharge of water, it is not an uncommon sight to see the grand old natural arch flooded. Photograph taken March 11, 2010 by John E. Moss
