Scenic Adair Co., KY: James K.Leigh Monument

One of Adair County's most unusual monuments is slightly hidden from view on the north side of Greenbriar RD, at approximately the 2.5 milepoint. It is a tribute to a beloved artist resident of the area, James Kenneth Leigh, Jr. (November 13, 1960 - July 19, 1993) and is not the final resting place of the Mr. Leigh. It is approximately 15' x 15' x 15' and approximately 4' tall at the apex, not including the steel cross.
