Band makes donation to A-team



2010-04-20 . Adair Co. Middle School Academic Team receives a generous donation from the Adair County Band Boosters. Presenting the Academic Team with a $500 check is Band Director Tom Case, second from right and Booster President Doyle Lloyd, far right. The Academic Team will be travelling to La Crosse, Wisconsin, in June to compete in the Internationals Competition and they are seeking donations to fund their registration and travel to Wisconsin. Four of the five Academic Team members are in the Adair County Band program, as well as Elementary School student, Rebecca Montgomery (not pictured) who will also be competing. The Team is coached Mrs. Sherri Stotts, left. Next is Coach Brett Reliford, then academic Team members are Chloe Cheng, Sydney Bright, Amber Turner, and Sarah McQuaide and Kyle Castaneda, accepting the check. Donations can be made by contacting Sherri Stotts at the Adair County Middle School by calling 384-5308 or email sherri.stotts@adair.kyschools.us
