Wheeler of Branson, MO. "I loved the way it is all setup and landscaped, so I snapped this picture. We were out just having a nice road trip and were enjoying the scenery. I'm glad spring is here. Hope all enjoy. From a Columbia, KY native. It's nice keeping in touch." Van Buren, MO, is in southeastern Missouri and is home to the Current River and the some of the biggest springs on earth, including a monster spring appropriately called "Big Spring." It's not far from Sikeston, Scott Co., MO, home of Lambert's and the famous Throwed Rolls. If you go, Van Buren is 373 miles from the Courthouse Annex, at 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY. Takes about six and one-half hours to get there. It's a great place to go. Linda and I took a trip there once in the early 1970s. She had been to Horse Cave, and Glasgow and Minnesota, but never to Missouri. While we were there, I asked if she had ever been to Arkansas. She hadn't. We did the Metcalfe Co. thing and drove across the Missouri/Arkansas state line, U-turned, and she graduated into a world traveller.
