Parts of the Jane Todd Crawford Trail in Green County are very seldom used today, but wend though gorgeous countryside, especially at this time, with redbud hanging over the roadway, a part of the 60 mile trek taken by pioneer surgery patient Jane Todd Crawford from her home in Green County, just north of the Adair County line on her way to Danville, KY for the world's first successful ovariotomy.
