2010-03-10 - Shelbyville, KY - Photo by Pen. Flag maintenance need in many places, not just Columbia and Adair Co., KY: I thought this photo was apropos to the current discussion in Adair County about flag maintenance. I'm pretty sure the Shelbyville park will replace this flag when baseball season starts back up in a few weeks. -Pen But Joe Hare, acknowledging that the scene is pretty, says that flags in this condition should be taken down, not flown at all in this state.
