Historic Postcard: Adair County Courthouse as it might be again

Joe Lynn Barbee bought this postcard at a flea market and has had it enlarged at Printing Creations to be hung in his gallery at Ol' Joe's B & B Que, 824 Campbellsville RD, Columbia, KY. The postcard was dated July 29, 1950, postmarked at 4:30pm, Columbia, KY. Mr. Barbee endorses the appearance, and says he hopes thiis is how the sturcture will appear after restoration. The stamp was 1 cent. The message on the card read, "Hi. Well I think J.B. is getting his fill of horses. he has been to the fair every day. We're having a good time. See you soon." It was signed, "Becky," and was addressed to Mr. John McMann, 2803 Central Ave., Middletown, OH. Ol' Joe's is open this Friday and Saturday, March 5 and 6, 2010. Though this photo may not be ready to hang, there are well over 100 already in place.
