Ladder one in action fighting Columbia, KY fire

A spectacular fire which took 30 firemen 2.5 hours to fully extinguish also needed Columbia-Adair County Fire Department's Ladder 1 truck to get above the one story structure and spray water down on the roof. This scene is from the north side of the building, next to a convenience store on Campbellsville RD. In addition to the Adair County Sheriff's Department and Columbia City Police, on hand for traffic control, the Breeding Fire Department was called for assistance, and Knifley Fire Department was alerted to be on standby.
