Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home wins decorating award

2009-12-07 - 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY - Photo CM photo. The 2009 winner of the Christmas in Columbia business decorating contest is Stotts-Phelps McQueary Funeral Home, owned by Louis McQueary and Richard Phelps. Besides the striking red and green Yuletime bows, a nativity scene can be seen on the northwest side of the building. The business category is given the plaque with a plate noting the year the business wins. The traveling trophy is passed on to the new winner each year, Chamber of Commerce Decorations Chairperson Sheila Hare said.
