Glens Fork community kids get special pumpkins

2009-10-29 - 124 Hwy 900 RD, Columbia, KY - Photo by Bryan Miller. Grant Michael Cockerham, was one of 20 children from the Glens Fork community who carved the shape of the Cross into their pumpkins, and got to take them home with them. Each child also received a votive candle to light the pumpkin, so that they can proudly display their Christian faith this Halloween. The event took place at the Glens Fork United Methodist Church, which sponsored the special treat at their weekly A.W.A.N.A. meeting, Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Grant is the son of Susan Miller and grandson of Jimmy and Barbara Brummett of Glens Fork. The Glens Fork United Methodist Church is located at 124 Hwy 900 Road, Columbia KY, in the Glens Fork community of Adair Co., KY-Bryan Miller
