The Legacy of the Julia Miller Horton Rose Garden at the Trabue-Russell House, 201 Jamestown ST, Columbia, KY, is a last testimony to a beautiful Columbia love story. Longtime Lindsey Wilson College President Dr. John Burns Horton endowed the garden in memory of his wife, one in a long line of Lindsey Wilson Presidents' wives who were both gracious and involved. Mrs. Horton came from an old line Adair County family. She had a passion for flowers, especially roses; the garden is a tribute to her memory and their shared love for the beauty in all things.
