Planting Day at Trabue-Russell House

2009-06-06 - Trabue Russell House, Jamestown Hill, Columbia, KY - Photo by Barbara Armitage.
SYNCHRONIZED GARDENING Not even the photographer could stay these intent gardeners from their appointed work. While most of Columbia was just waking up to a rainy Thursday morning and contemplating that first hot cup of coffee members of the Adair County Garden Club were already hard at work. Members Jennifer Smith, Wendy Burt, Johnnie Biggs, Mary Knight, Lila Loy, Dianne Loy, Angie Loy, Trisha Loy, Maury Lewis, Lucille Lemmon and Barbara Armitage began replanting the rose garden at the Trabue House.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE: These dedicated people are working tirelessly to bring the beauty of nature to everyone who lives, works or visits Adair County. If you would like more information on the Trabue House Rose Garden Project or the Adair County Garden Club please call Barbara Armitage at (270) 250-2979.
