Birds of KY: Ebenezer Robin family makes progress

2009-04-24 - Ebenezer Community, Green Co., KY - Photo by Judy Corbin.
GOD'S LITTLE CREATIONS: Judy Corbin gives this report on a closely watch little family at her home in the Ebenezer Community in Southern Green County, KY, not far from the exact geographic center of Kentucky's highly important Greensburg/Campbellsville/Columbia triangle. She writes, "I sent you the Momma Robin in the tree in my front yard, upper right and I think I sent you the nest of 3 eggs, lower right that we found on the Saturday before Easter. Today, April 24, 2009, when I checked the nest--I found these hatchlings. God's little creations!" Mrs. Robin is doing quite well, though it appears little Alpha, left, above, is already be a handful.
