Spring PRIDE Clean up: Republican Party in action

The REPUBLICAN PARTY TURNED OUT IN FORCE to clean up the county. Upper left, party Vice Chair Josh Brockman was the leader of the group. Lower right Representative Bam Carney was a volunteer member of the group, and was still signing up when this photo was taken; Center panel "Coach" Brockman with the Republicans in a huddle, formulating game plan, but without Carney, and right photo Retired KSP Detective and probable candidate for the 2010 Republican Party nomination for sheriff of Adair County, Bobby Sullivan, who had started to help the Republicans, but saw the crowd in the City Parking lot and signed enlistment papers there. "Doesn't matter," he said, "it's all work for a cleaner Adair County." However, Sullivan re-enlisted, later in the day, when he caught up with the Republicans at Shepherd School for the barbecue. "He stayed, and helped us clean the parking lot at Shepherd," Lisa Lee, Republican Party chairman said. "He was a big help." In the huddle, in the center, abov, are also, in the white cap, Darrell Grant, then Chief 911 Dispatcher Lee Ann Roy, and, far right, in blue cap, Jobe Darnell, Adair County Roads Supervisor.
