2009-04-15 - Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Shamarie Claiborne.
The Adair Fiscal Court gave a giant boost to the fundraising efforts of the Adair County Band Boosters last night. The court voted 5-2 to donate $3,000 toward sending the band members to New York City for the 2009 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Then, six members of the court , including the two who had voted "No" on the County giving money, plus CJE Ann Melton pledged $300 each to the effort.
