Rainwater Staff flew LWC cycling banner at Purdue

COACH DAVID GRIGSBY flew the Lindsey Wilson Cycling teams banner from the staff which came from the Rainwater Tree in front of the L.R. MacDonald Adiministration Building on the A.P. White Campus of Lindsey Wilson College. The plaque on the Rainwater Tree reads, "The Rainwater Oak Tree" was planted in 1907 by Lindsey Wilson student Fred Rainwater, whom legend describes as a Cherokee Indian and long distance runner who planted this tree as his legacy to future generations of students."
