Have I told you about my grandkids today?

OUR FIRST GRANDCHILD, GRAHAM, at left above, with my first husband Ed, shared a new book over lunch Saturday. When time is flying by and Graham and his brother Evan can't make it to Columbia at the same time the grandparents can't make it to Shelbyville, we frequently call for a meeting in the middle. This visit took us to Barnes and Noble bookstore in Elizabethtown and then across the parking lot to Red Lobster. The visit came to a close at a play place just up the road where for a small fee, kids can jump and climb and play miniature golf. Reflecting on our visit, I'm proud to say our philosophies were not compromised -- reading and discovery were celebrated first, then eating some healthy broccoli followed by physical education.
