At Roads update: CJE, BAM and Sammy Baker

2009-03-18 - Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener.
51st DISTRICT KENTUCKY STATE REPRESENTATIVE BAM CARNEY, center, held press conference in the Adair Annex Building at the office of Adair County CJE ANN Melton, left. With them is Sammy Baker, Magistrate in District 3, who received good news on the funding prospects for the KY 55 bridge over Glens Fork Creek and for straightening the path of Dug (sometimes called Insurance Hill) on KY 704 above Burns Creek. The two projects were among several getting at least some funding in the current budget. "I wouldn't be at all surprised to the KY 55 bridge built in this biennium," Rep. Carney said. The conference was held at 3:00pmCT, Tuesday, March 17, 2009. Also at the conference, and just out of the picture, was Sixth District Magistrate Joe Rogers.
