Bluebird Houses available at Day & Day

2009-02-12 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Julie Combs.
BOBBY DAY DISPLAYS ONE OF THE BLUEBIRD HOUSES which are available at Day and Day Feed, 1011 Campbellsville Road, Columbia, KY. There is no charge for one of these. "We just hope they will be put up and used," Julie Combs of Day and Day says. "Donations are appreciated, in order to make more." The name of the builder and his Adair County town of origin is on each and every birdhouse, but sort of hidden, on the bottom of the little structures. Like Johnny Appleseed of old, he does it, with a controlled ego, absent of guile as Poet Pat Bell describes it in Anonymous Praise "Gently tapping his hammer . . . admiring his work with a satisfying smile." If you want one, or just want to know the name of the bluebird house builder, go by Day & Day Feed. Their phone number is (270) 384-2209.
