NOT SO CUTE UP CLOSE: "Now the old saying goes 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder,' but I found out today that turkeys, while very beautiful in a field, are not that cute up close. Old Ruby was just about five feet from my car today as I dropped the boys off, but I must say she is still the coolest turkey I know. I don't know that many; in fact just Ruby--but who is counting?" -Shamarie Claiborne
