A story of a haircut and of a great kid

2009-01-13 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Carmen Wall, Trinity UMC.
Damon Honaker got a haircut!
"We wanted to share this story with you about a Great Kid!," writes Carmen Wall of Trinity UMC. "This may not sound like national news but to those who know him, it's pretty cool. Damon has been growing his hair for 3 years so that he could donate it to children with cancer. His New Year's resolution was to not get it cut until it was long enough So Saturday, January 10, 2009, he and his mother went to the House of Styles to check on the progress. Sure enough his locks were regulations length. His hair will be sent to Wigs for Kids for children who have lost their hair from chemotherapy or other complications." The photo on the leftshow him with his brothers, Nick Honaker and Ian Johnson (not pictured is Sean Johnson) Damon has the long hair, of course. The middle photo is of the haircut itself, and the smiling face on the right is Damon Honaker after the hair was cut.The befores and the after. We are so proud of this young man!" Carmen Wall, Trinity UMC, writes.
