2009-01-06 - US 127, Russell Springs, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener.
United Citizens Bank of Southern Kentucky's fourth facility is underway in Russell Springs, KY, just beyond Steve McKinney's Russell County Automotive (NAPA) store. The UCB branch is scheduled to open in the Spring of 2009. It follows the headquarters bank on on Jamestown Street, Columbia, KY; a branch bank on Campbellsville Road at the north terminus of the Columbia Western Bypass, and their Campbellsville, KY branch.UCB has grown to over $130 million in assets in just four years. The Russell County UCB branch is opposite the road from the Russell County High School Campus. Columbian Steve McKinney's automotive parts store is one of three in his group, including one on Campbellsville Street in Columbia and a Campbellsville store 16 miles north on KY 55, across from Cox Interiors.
