Treasurer's Report on Renaissance Columbia

The photo above is a composite of the Treasurer's Report given to City Council on "Renaissance Columbia" activities at the Council's December meeting. The Council failed to approve a requested $20,000 reimbursement to "Renaissance Columbia" based on the above report. Although it is not directly evident from the report what the exact extent of the Diamond Rio Concert's cash loss was, it can be derived by subtracting the concert revenues of $15,376.00 from the cash expenses of $45,466.27 for a $30,090.27 cash loss.. The loss could be somewhat greater when inkind expenses, city expenses for personnel, materials and city time is included.
