Some of the magic of Damron's Creek draws from the juxtaposition of the ancient, the ghosts of recent past, and the very modern. This scene on the 500 acre Steve Sanders place shows the reference for the old, the old mule drawn plown, beside very modern round rolls. Over on the creek and in the woods, in the recent past, no more than a few decades ago, products rivaling the quality of the best libations of Brown-Forman were manufactured without sanction from or tribute to Washington, DC, compelling the High Sheriff and his men to terminate the enterprise.
