Birds of America: Wood ducks at Montreat, NC

Phil Hanna, Library Director at Lindsey Wilson College, sent these photos from Montreat, NC. He writes, "We were in Montreat, North Carolina, and saw a large group of wood ducks on Lake Susan," adding, "they are quite colorful." The top picture is the Assembly Inn overlooking Lake Susan. "Montreat is the conference center of the Presbyterian Church. It is outside of Asheville, NC. It is also where Billy Graham lives," Phil Hanna writes. The lower photo is one of the close ups of the beautiful waterfowl which Hanna was able to capture. A Today Feature picture.
