STEVE SANDERS has 500 acres on Damron Creek Road. While bringing a proof of geographical significance over Ryan Beard's home on Dunnville Road, remembered another Damron's Creek historical fact: There was once a large spoke factory in the Damron's Creek community. "I had always thought the factory made the spokes for wagons or carriages," he said. "But now I'm learning that the factory made the spokes for some of the early car factories." A lot of people worked there he said. If anyone knows more about the Damron's Creek spoke factory, please send it to CM using a Contact/Submit Button.
