COMPARATIVE BACKPORCHES 101: "This is a photo of the back of Jefferson's home. I must admit that it is much nicer than my back porch, even though Jefferson's was built over 200 years ago," Chris Bennett writes, but notes some advantages his own back porch has, "In my defense my home has a refrigerator, electric lights, an Apple Computer, a working water closet, with a padded seat, a mail box full of junk mail, and Satellite TV with a DVR. Jefferson didn't have any of this stuff!"
