LARRY SMITH, the WAVE 92.7 NEWS ANCHOR and South Central Kentucky Historian, sends this photo from his collection and writes, "A Sunday afternoon road-trip to Elizabethtown, KY reminded me that a trip through downtown Hodgenville would be cool and it was. The newly renovated Lincoln Memorial and the newly renamed Lincoln Square really looks great. Historians: It's a must come look at Hodgenville, KY. The square now has a round-about, like the Columbia Square and has been newly landscaped and decorated. The Lincoln Memorial, above, was dedicated by President William Howard Taft. Behind the statue is the Lincoln Museum, at 67 Lincoln Square."
