Larry Smith photo: Main Street Renovaton

2008-08-30 - Merchants Hotel, Main ST, Campbellsville, KY - Photo By Larry Smith.
Larry Smith took two pictures on Main Street in Campbellsville, KY, and writes: "We are so excited about the renovation of the Old Merchants Hotel. The hotel is undergoing a major renovation. Will and Karen Patton have purchased the historic hotel on main and will be returned to it's orginal look from 100 years ago. The Hotel on main street will soon celebrate it's 100th anniversary and it will be open again! This has to be a dream come true for our historians and residents of Campbellsville as Main street is showing many signs of a major come-back." The photo on the left looks out from the hotel to the sister station of WHVE, FM 92.7, the WAVE's, WVLC, the Big Dawg radio station. The picture on the right shows a doorway at the Old Merchants' Hotel.
