Pen took this sequence yesterday of a life and death struggle in the animal world. He writes, with the left photo,"The FIGHT: Watched this wasp try for 10 full minutes to find a way to bring the grasshopper back to a growing nest. He'd land, struggle, then take flight again, veering crazily until he had to land again and regroup. Eventually, he lost his hold, and the grasshopper fell about 8 feet to the ground."
