Birds of Kentucky: Arnold Mayse, hummingbird charmer

2008-08-18 - Glens Fork, KY - Photo By McEva Mayse.
McEVA MAYSE captured this classic photograph of Arnold Mayse feeding the hummingbirds, and writes, "They are Arnold's pets. He has lots of them. He feeds them about a quart of food each day," and adds, "we have about two dozen or so, and enjoy them very much. Sometimes there will beother colors, including the grey ones and some with red, but the unusual ones aregreen and blue, which we had never seen before." And, if you didn't notice, she adds, "Note the bird sitting on the feeder." It's right below and between Arnold's right elbow and left hand.
