Russell Countian is National Gold Medalist

GOLD MEDALISTS: Somerset Community College students Anastasia South of Russell County, Jonathan Fox of Pulaski County and Aaron Ross of Pulaski County were all smiles after they won the gold medal in the automated manufacturing technology team event during the annual SkillsUSA Championships June 27 at the National Leadership and Skills Conference awards ceremony. The conference was held June 23 - June 27, 2008, in Kansas City, MO. South, Fox and Ross are students at the Somerset Community College under the direction of machine tool technology Professor Daniel Burnett. Shown here, clockwise from the left, are: South, Fox, Ross and Burnett.
