Birds of Kentucky: UFO Duck identified as hen wood duck

2008-07-22 - Long Run Park - Photo by Pen. Pen spotted this duck swimming in Long Run Park in eastern Jefferson County, Kentucky, but isn't sure of the species and wrote this when it was posted. "I think it might be a Teal. Any identification help will be appreciated." Fortunately, Dr. Roger Smith has now sent positive information.
