Road Eighty Bridge Day 288: Approaches paved

The PAVING IS COMPLETE:
The approaches to the Road Eighty Bridge are as smooth as a counter top. The new bridge still needs safety striping and inspections by the Kentucky Department of Highways. A Somerset KHD spokesperson told Lisa Lee, Administrative Assistant to Adair County CJE Ann Melton, that the highway department expects the road to be open on Friday, July 18, 2008, which would end the construction day count at 292.
