Ralph Willis sold the last tray of green tomatoes for $1. A good price for a mess for frying. Soon his tomatoes will be ripe, along corn, squash, cucumbers, bell sweet pepper, and more, at his Willis & Willis Vegetable Garden, on Willis Street at Rule, between Hurt & Harvey Streets, right beside the Old Barn.
