Gradyville Buggy Ride: #3 A Cautious Turn

2008-06-22 - Intersection, KY 80, Old Gradyville Road, Gradyville, District 4, Adair Co. KY - Photo By Linda Waggener.
GUIDE ANDY kept a cautious watch on the motor vehicle traffic on KY 80 as driver Jacob awaited a safe turning interval to enter Old Gradyville Road and the historic district. The moment gave a sense of the dangers the slow moving vehicles face every day sharing the road with two ton motorized transports which whiz through Gradyville at 55 mph. The tall sign in the intersection announces that Gradyville is the birthplace of Ed Diddle, the legendary Centre College athlete and Western Kentucky University coach. The turn was executed smoothly by the young driver, whose buggy bore the warning, "Not responsible for accidents."
