Another Columbia Western Bypass milestone near

2008-05-29 - Pelham Branch Road at intersection with Columbia Western Bypass - Photo By Ed Waggener.
Haydon Bros. Construction Co. is approaching another milestone on the construction of the Columbia Western Bypass. Dana Sandusky, left, and Stanley Johnson said that they understand the cut behind them, through the Betty Helen Sapp farm, will be complete sometime Friday, May 30, 2008, and that the only other cut on the road, just east near Murray Lane, will be done in a few days. Paving is underway on the on bypass, with most of the blacktopping of the road from KY 55 south to KY 61 at Dr. Arnold's farm nearly complete. All four bridges on the bypass are now nearly complete.
