City Council meeting: Hearing the 911 funding request

ADAIR COUNTY JUDGE ANN MELTON back to camera, went over more details of her request to the City of Columbia City Council to help fund the new Enhanced 911 center with Mayor Pat Bell, left. She has the full attention of City Attorney Marshall Loy, center, but not that of Senior Councillor Charles Grimsley, right, who was watching the performance of, off-camera in this scene, 2.5 months old Jackson Lyric Dean who, at the time, was being held by Councillor June Parson. Judge Melton said is optimistic that the city will pay it's share of dispatcher salaries, which is the only cost the system's biggest user would pay. The Adair County Fiscal Court is paying all other costs of operation.
