Scenic Adair Co., KY: Cane Valley without new KY 55

2008-04-21 - Northside Cane Valley, Adair County District 6 - Photo By Pen.

Pen took this photo before the leaves were fully out. There are several noteworthy features. First, the perspective from Cane Valley Road leaves little hint of new KY 55, which traverses the scene and which dominates the town today. Secondly, there is a dramatic road scene leading out of the top of the frame. It's the Steve Breeding Road, and it isn't a new straight shoot to Greensburg. It's an Adair County Road, but it dead ends just over the hill. There are other landmarks which should be identified. Any help, corrections, or comment which may come to mind would be appreciated. Clicking Read More accesses the "Today, Mon., April 21, 2008" feature," the First Stop for most folks to find our what's happening in Adair County. Scroll to the End of the feature for Today's Photo Album."
